Washington DC-based opera company, INseries Artistic Director Timothy Nelson and Hari Krishnan have been collaborating closely on his newest opera- Monteverdi's POPPEA.

This has been a singular JOYFUL experience for Hari, working with Tim, his gifted dancers and musicians on ideating, texturing and re-purposing familiar Indian dance vocabulary to adapt and channel POPPEA through his inventive and provocative artistic arc.

POPPEA was Tim's fantastical India, to fall in LOVE, while revelling in music and dance.
